We’ve been designing and building award-winning homes throughout Cheshire since 1981. During this time, we’ve established a strong reputation based on our core values of professionalism, reliability and trust. Craftsmanship and build quality is backed by the NHBC 10-year Buildmark Warranty, and our membership of the Federation of Master Builders. Add to this our exemplary after sales service and you can be assured every CB Homes development delivers ultimate satisfaction to its new owner, long after we’ve handed you the keys.
We take great pride in every project we embark on to ensure the end result is as pleasing to its new owners as it is to us. Our pride, passion and professionalism have been recognised by many local, regional and national awards that are testimony to our dedicated approach.
All of these awards recognise the high standards of build and design, the quality of craftsmanship, the strength of relationships we develop with our clients, and their overall satisfaction with the build. Recent awards have been received from the Federation of Master Builders (FMB), the National House Building Council (NHBC) and the Local Authority Building Control (LABC)See our awards
Our clients are at the heart of everything we do. Our dedicated partnership approach means you’ll deal with the same small team of people who each share your passion to help you fulfil your dreams of a perfect home. So, from day one, you’ll be closely involved throughout the build process. We’ll also make sure you have all the information you need to make informed decisions throughout.
And for complete peace of mind, CB Homes has signed up to the NHBC’s Consumer Code for Home Builders, which is an industry-led scheme giving protection and rights to the purchasers of new homes. The Code ensures that new home buyers are treated fairly and are fully informed about their purchase before, during and after they sign the contract.
The day you receive the keys to your new home is an exciting time, and we’ll make sure everything is as you would expect it to be. Prior to handover, your dedicated Site Manager will inspect the house against a detailed checklist. On the day of the handover, you will receive a comprehensive handover manual that contains information about the house, such as the appliance manuals, warranties, and certificates. Your Site Manager will also be on-hand to walk you round and show you how things work, such as the heating and alarm systems.
This is a great opportunity to thoroughly inspect and test out your new home for any possible snagging issues. We won’t rush you here though – you can take as long as you want to notify our dedicated Snagging Team or Aftersales Team of any issues, help or advice you require. Even though we have handed you the keys, we are still there for you, and always just a phone call away.
Reducing the impact our businesses and homes have on our planet is key to the environment and the future of our industry. In recognition of this, we strive to build sustainability into all stages of our projects. Wherever possible, we design and create sustainable schemes that will support and maintain our customers for the future. We will always try to ensure our schemes harmonise and support the local wildlife and vegetation as much as is practically possible.
During demolition, we will always try to retain, reclaim and recycle as much material as possible to reuse within the site’s infrastructure. Our drainage and road systems are designed to mitigate the impact we have on existing water courses. Meanwhile, during the construction phase we use local suppliers and trades to minimise delivery miles while supporting local business. We also aim to ensure that all our products are sustainably sourced, and we install onsite recycling schemes to encourage our employees and contractors to recycle all waste materials as efficiently and effectively as possible.
As you would expect, each of our homes is built to the very latest energy efficiency standards, regardless of size or value. We not only meet, but regularly exceed industry standards set with regards to insulation values, SAP calculations and air testing in our homes – critical measures to keeping the warm air in and cold air out.
But we pride ourselves in regularly exceeding these industry standards, often supplying our homes with additional energy efficiency features such as mechanical positive air input systems, hot water recovery systems, waste water heat recovery systems, and fitted low energy appliances. And for those clients that want to take energy savings a step further, we can also install additional systems such as solar panels, ground source heat pumps, and greywater recycling systems.
We’ve been designing and building award winning homes throughout Cheshire since 1981. During this time, we’ve established a vast experience of understanding our client’s needs and delivering their dreams.
Each CB Homes' development is distinctly individual, guaranteeing a non-estate feel, with a diversity of thoughtful designs. Along with a variety of aesthetically pleasing external and internal design features, a great deal of care and consideration ensures both living and storage space is optimised. Each of our homes is built to the very latest energy efficiency requirements, while outdoor space is maximised making sure each home benefits from a generous sized plot, while making the most of the surroundings - We take pride in delivering homes that we are proud of.
