Once you have signed-off the architect’s initial sketch scheme, we will then evolve this into architectural planning drawings. These will be prepared in conjunction with all other supporting documents that are required for the planning submission, and submitted to the relevant Local Authority planning department. Throughout this stage of the process both our construction team and your allocated architect will be in regular contact with you to keep you informed.
We pride ourselves on our personal approach, and the strength of relationships we develop with our clients. From the very outset, you’ll deal with the same small team of people, and have a direct point of contact throughout your self-build project.
Once your planning application has been approved we will work closely together to satisfy conditions which will involve decisions on options for external materials, and landscaping elements which will enable us to apply for building regulations, and register your build with the NHBC and local authority. At this stage we’re now almost ready to start, and break ground!
You will be allocated your own Construction team and dedicated Site Manager, and you can choose how much or how little you want to be involved. Regular project meetings will be managed by the Construction Director, so you’ll always know what’s going on, at every stage of the process.
