A couple living in a leafy private road in Wilmslow in Cheshire first got in touch with us several years ago. Their house had a large side garden and they wanted to investigate the feasibility of building a new home in their large side garden. Their architect suggested they go down the traditional tender route, which for design and build is very often a JCT (Joint Contracts Tribunal). We were one of five builders in the area to be asked to quote.

Our timber frame house in Hoole is now progressing rapidly. The exterior brick ‘skin’ has now been built, the roof is complete and the windows are in. Our tradespeople have been very busy over the last few weeks so all the plumbing and electrics have been installed.

The design of the proposed house on our Hoole plot needed very careful consideration, as there were various planning restrictions we needed to abide by.
